So your going to hold of buying it.

Well what if... it is extremely stable and it doesnt have that many issues?

will you regret your false judgement?

    =]

PS - All mammals have nipples.

    Get over it already.

As for myself the loading screens are fine for me, I'm sorry to hear they're still doing badly for some people like yourself. It's like every launch, though. Some computers (even high-end) can't play this game as expected because of programming errors and the like-wise. Yet after seeing everything that's been fixed in the past month I can easily see these issues not lasting any longer than another month. Also, the crashing is basically non-existant at this point after their later patches. I've run the game (badly, but it did run) on a single core, then eventually a dual core, and then at another friend's house a quad core. It will be optimized for all (as long as the single-core meets the specs).
I like the combat system, makes things a little bit more challenging. Like I already mentioned, the only thing at this point that would be turning me off is such a horrid community this thread (and many others at the moment) are showing off. I will be playing about a week after release, and the only concern I have personally is the community.

I spent over half a year donating my free time to test for FunCom, I'm sorry, but after six+ months of bullshit posts like the OP has here, you get extremely tired of seeing then ANYWHERE.

Bottom line, if he didn't want conflicting opinions or ones not similar to his own, he shouldn't have posted on a public forum, one commonly known for its ABUNDANCE of trolls.

Which in my opinion is exactly what the OP is.

Thanks for all the replies :). First of all I am a huge funcom faboi. I LOVE AO <-- one of my favs and was heavily looking forward to this. You have to understand where I am coming from, so many previously launched MMOs were horrible and more of a headache to play at launch than anything. One of them being Funcoms very own AO as well as some others. This is why I am cautious when you jump into a late test phase and continual crashes and no support for quad cores is shown at a Dx10 capable game?.

If someone jumps on here with the release client after the 20th, with a quad core system running windows vista 64 bit and says the game is smooth as butter, I will then go buy myself a copy :). The lack of information that Funcom provided to people who had these crashes was horrible and offered us no reassurance at all.

Exactly... but some other people can't get that through their foreheads.  People are free to post whatever they want to so long as it follows the rules of the forums.
