Thats Awesome! BTW...FFXI was a terrible game! Specially when compared to the past FF games

All in all though, I cant wait till the game comes out and than get really involved in the WOW forums! I love it when a huge community gets togethor! Kind of nice to come home to ya know?

Most likely most of us will end up posting in the official forums once the game comes out. I know I will Im always active in the official forums of games I play. Unless im playing the game 24/7 and dont have time to post in the forums =P

I hope that I am lucky enough never to have to get close enough to those forums to even smell them. I just really do not like the people there. All there do is complain and whine and don't forgot about half of the accounts are people spamming for EQ2. I wish Blizzard would do something around there that the wonderful staff is doing here. You don't have to do anything, just set up a script or program that goes through and locks or deletes every thread that has anything to do with EQ2.

Oh well, I plan on posting here and other forums like these when I get to play this game to release any information available and also to answer question and all that stuff. Does any one know where to find a bug count? All the ones reported/fixed and stuff? Just curious.

Well, WoW here is the most popular forums besides the General forums and that tells you something...

WoW is also one of the most popular/active over at the VN forums and if you check Blizzard's Official WoW forums, they get almost 100,000 posts a day. WoW is gonna be insanely popular (moreso than any other game out there or that is coming out).

Yeah, but have you looked at the posts? They are all about EQ2 having better graphics than WoW. I really want them to have to eat their words when ever they can't run the game on their computers. Oh well, so all of a sudden those 100,000 posts are cut down to about 85,000 serious posts. And still you have to cut those down further to about 83,000 to flamers and people that don't make any sence or have no idea what they are talking about. That is still a rather large number of people posting on a forum about one game. This tells me that Blizzard knows what they are doing when they advertise it. They even got the EQ2 fans worried so they are trying to convert as many people as possible before the games hit stores.

Yea, those EQ2 trolls can be quite pathetic

But the fact that there are that many posts shows that there is HUGE talk about WoW and that is a good thing (since it increases it's hype which in turn attracts more players).

last thing i need are more players. Just means more people killing newbs who are actually trying to accomplish something, and i don't really enjoy PvP, unless you recieve something out of it, because usually i'll be like level20 vs a level 53, or someone with godly equipment. So i don't like too big of populations.

If you don't like having the fear of being killed at level 10 or 20, then don't play on the PvP server... simple as that.

Yeah if you dont like dieing when youre a lower lvl dont play on the PvP server cuz thats all the people do on the PvP server is KILL PLAYERS! If you are in a contested zone you WILL be attacked even if your just looking for herbs/minerals. I probabaly wont play on the PvP server cuz im not playing this game to PvP. If I wanted to PvP or kill someone Id duel them or play a FPS game where it takes more skill to kill someone. In mmorpgs its all about luck more then skill.
