Playing in an isntanced game world is good?  Selecting numbered instanced zones to join, just so that u can see your own guild is cool?  Sorry thought it was meant to be next gen and not GW, my mistake well just waiting for the loading screen to finish lol.

IF you want good graphics and limited lag you have to used instances. WOW has a bunch of Instances now, most modern games are going to use them. If you want a streamless world with good graphics good luck.

They are annoying at times, but since I do play some graphic intensive games I am used to instances and waiting times.

Vanguard tried no loading screens and at times I was gobsmacked at how the entire world didn't have any instances.  However the game lagged to hell, freezes, CTD's and the minute 3 people entered the same zone the game freaked out.  Great idea but until hardware has caught up and ISP's give us huge speeds then its a dream.  Instances are necessary and it really depends on how they are used.  In Tabula Rasa they are used rarely  (3-4 per entire map) so you hardly notice.  PotBS has a ton of instances for every house, town etc.  At first I was pretty annoyed but I did get used to it, still not going to continue with the sub but thats a game flaw.  If most of the adventuring world is not instanced then I will be happy with that.  Performance matters first...

It takes me ~15 seconds or less to load into a zone, that's a fraction of what most zoned MMO's take to load.

Its hardly a long time I agree.  It does mean they need to keep performance perked up because if it lags up too much then people will really get pissed off with it.  I haven't been in the game yet and I am really keen on seeing how it looks.

I do remember the devs in Vanguard saying they 'may' bring in instanced zones and a large portion of the player base screamed in fury at the very thought of having an instanced zone in a world that had none.  The same players spammed in general that they could hardly move, CTD all the time and how the game was unplayable in or near cities.  Glad AoC didn't try and do the impossible and go down that route....
