Well, heres the thing. Granted, those who didn't get in because of late registering still didn't lose any money, so to speak. I think the point of their complaint is something along the lines of, we were under the impression that we would get to play. Also, we need to take a look into what the advantages are of being able to have early access. You get a head start, plain and simple and if anyone has ever played a PvP orientated game, you know exactly what that calculates to. So, certain individuals are given three days to achieve as much as possible before the mass populace enters into their domain. PvP games are competitive, like a race. If your running against someone and get a three day head start, you are going to have quite an advantage. I don't know what the level system is like in AoC, but lets say the level cap is 80. The first day of early access, you already have people past level 20. So, it just goes to say, early access is an advantage and for those who purchased a EA box and didn't get to utilize it, well, it's not a crime on Funcom's part, but it isn't exactly proper gaming etiquette if you ask me. People that had intentions of using EA, should have been given the chance. The fact there wasn't enough space on the servers, is just Funcom dropping the ball. So, while the cartoon is cute and accurate, it completely missed several points as to what early access entitles. Just thought I'd give my two cents on the matter, even though I'm not for or against either side.
I really don't see how you can accuse of Funcom dropping the ball. Thousands of people figured out how to get the early access with no problems.
its the peoples own fault for not reading the descriptions on the packages lol. i mean it says SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED its not funcoms fault its the consumers that didnt take the time to read.

I think you described the typical mentality of MMO PVP server communities pretty well, and why the majority prefer PVE with a consensual PVP option. Though without the PVP servers PVE players would have to be subjected to a far greater number of those with the e-peen slapper mentality. So they do serve a good purpose.
