The Antavian Sect is a secretive organisation that has existed for as long as the world itself, at least that's what they say in the songs spreading the land. The Sect stays hidden, but like puppeteers they were involved in alot of the important events that have shaped civilization, religion and even the outcome of many great battles. They have their own goals, not always in line with the ones of kings, or leaders. They are driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge. And knowledge in the world of Hyboria means power.



They worship a pantheon of Gods, seeing Set ( from their own cultural heritage ) as the most important one, followed by Ajujo, Derketo, Ibis and Jhil.



The Antavian Sect are led by the Antavian Council, with the Archon of the Council being chosen by Set himself during the “Ritual of Blood”.



Goals:

The guild's main goal is to establish an inspiring role playing environment for its members ( and beyond ) within the harsh world of Hyboria. We aim to enjoy the game as much as as possible, so PVE and PVP will be part of our activities as well. Preferably embedded in the guild's Lore or generally story driven by its members or goals.



Due to the guild's atmosphere we will only accept people & classes that have aligned themselves with the darker ( some may call it evil ) side of the spectrum. The Antavian sprouted from the Stygian culture, but have always incorporated other races & cultures when needed. Stygian religion and culture still plays a mayor role within the Antavian society and the serpent god Set is on top of our religious pantheon.



We are looking for players with the following characteristics:

* We are a role playing guild first, so we expect all our members to stay “In Character” at all times.

Obviously, we expect you to actually role play ( without being to elitists, roleplaying is supposed to be fun,

and people that are new to role playing and want to make an effort learning are welcome as well )

* Mature players that want to explore all aspects of the game, RP, PVE & PVP

* We welcome both casual and more hardcore players, we will will not demand you to play or raid if that's not your personal goal. But we do expect our players to be active ingame, and on the forum.



Due to the Guilds magical nature and dark alignment, we currently have installed class restrictions:

We accept the following classes:

Tempest of Set

Priest of Mitra ( if played as a priest of one of our allied gods, not Mitra )

Dark Templar

All Mage classes are welcome

Currently none of the rogue or soldier classes except Dark Templar
