It will work but it's a really crappy card. 2 Memory slots, 2 PCI slots (no regular PCI-E slots, just the one for the motherbord) Maximum 2GB RAM memory Totaly sucks when the RAM is as cheap as it is now.

I absolutly recomend you to buy another card. My recomendation is a A-BIT IP35 PRO IP35 card. 4 memory slots with up til 8gb, 3 PCI slots, SLI, 1 PCI-E 1x. You get Guru which is a software and will give you the possibility to use your processor at 3,5Ghz (the temperatur for the core2 is very low so it isn't a problem).

It does cost more but will give you a lot better computer. Gigabyte sux.

Cause it says so. It seems your current motherboard can only hold 2GB of memory.

The GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L is cheaper than the ABIT and reliable, actually in general all the recent Gigabyte P35 motherboards are reliable.

is there a reason you're looking for a micro motherboard ? is size a limiting factor ?

i agree tho, this is a pretty lame motherboard to build a system with today. generally in the product specs it'll state max memory.
