I don't even have a Wii on hand. I know my mother is a bit interested in it...but there is a scale in the bathroom. The things you can do with it seem pretty cool. I remember one girl got offended that her body mass was off and let experts to believe Wii Fit isn't accurate...yahoo news....girls...blah. I don't think gamestop will have one to play with though. I think the kids would be doing drop kicks on it.

If you're going to lay down 80$ just to see your GF do that then it's time to look for a new gf.
Lol you said exactly the same sort of thing when the Wii came out. The Wii is still with us despite its 'Gimmicky' controller and 'Babyish' games.
And once again Nintendo try something not tried before and the PS3 and Xbox360 fanbois start Crowing again
Also its worth pointing out your link is a link to a Spoof video made by Sarcastic gamer, hence its not exactly something you take seriously.
Another great example of Moore's Law. Give people access to that much space (developers and users alike) and they'll find uses for it that you can never imagine. "640K ought to be enough for anybody" - Bill Gates 1981

Where did I say that the thing wouldn't sell? The OP's question was wether there is entertainment value, not if it's selling well.
It's also quite clear that you misunderstood the sarcasm in the video. it used sarcasm to point out that they felt underwhelmed by it.

Well i got that too but i took the context of the video with what i knew about your posting history and came up with the message that the Wii bourd was a stupid idea that was just a Gimmick. Course i guess i was wrong to some degree and i apologise.

Honestly, I would just buy myself REAL exercising machines and watch my favorite videos while exercising.

I'm glad for you. I play hockey and train in karate. That = more fun and useful skills, as well as being able top play actual video games during my free time.

Come on. The wii IS entertaining, but when people begin to rely on the wii to stay fit...you know you have a problem. You don't need the Wii Fit to make staying fit enjoyable. Simply go out side and play in some organized team sports, run, do anything. But don't waste $70 on a piece of white plastic. If you must, then go right ahead. But you will regret it, especially after you've played through everything it has to offer...
