Patch Keeps Repeating!

This is getting very very annoying.. I've had to atleast do the patch 30 times now, and I've yet been past the patch window,

 

It goes through the usual patching then it says Ready to Play then I click it THEN i press Accept ... THEN!  it Restarts!

 

Is this happening to anyone else?

I had the same thing. My theory: Think the thing is that it has downloaded and put the patcher .exe file as the game launch .exe. So, it start the patcher instead of the game, and since the patcher is locking the file, it cannot overwrite with the correct one. I.e. the infinite loop.

 

This was my solution when I got this:

* Go to AoC folder, rename the “Age of Conan.exe” into something else (exe.old or something).

* Run the patcher.exe (something with patcher in it), and it will download a new correct game .exe file for you.
