Sorry I need to know if this game would be viable on my laptop from your GOLD experience

Thanks for your help. I hope I can run the game... even if its requires me some OC on my graphic card. BTW talking about OCING... those who own a 8600M GT can tell me what are the good number to put in riva tuner for optimal performance please... thanks all for your help!!!

    you're gonna lag.  Its a great laptop. Rule if thumb tho....laptops; nomatter how good the specs are are merely designed mostly for office applications. Never buy a laptop for portablel gaming. You'll regret it.  A similiar Desktop PC will give you 4x better results.

    I run the game without any problems at medium settings. Your comp should do the same

     

    Edit: didn't see it was a laptop, no clue about that, and i also have 2*10 000 rpm drives in raid 0.

    Been owning this laptop since 6 months. I was just wondering if there is a way of having a good time playing this game on my laptop. Im a paramedic/firefighter, I often have free time on my job, so I carry my laptop and play WoW lol.... but I need a NEW game ^^ .

    Well I have a pretty similar laptop but with 4GB ram. My graphics card is a 8400M GT and that is what is holding me back, so it's down the graphics card, depends how much difference between the 8400M GT and your 8600M GT, I'm running the game on fullest low graphics and still suffering framerate lag and it's pretty frustrating >.<

    Worried about overclocking because my laptop has no cooling system and I really don't want to overheat it...

    If you had 4 gig of ram, then you should have no problems in going for medium+ settings.. im sure of that..

    But still you are going to be able to play AoC at medium -  as it is now

    I my self have a laptop and i will have my 4 gig today i hope :p

    Well man, There is a HUGE gap between 8400 and 8600... even if you have 4g of ram it wont make up...
