Can't attach AoC to Existing Funcom Account

Can anyone confirm if it is possible to attach AoC to my Exisiting Funcom account. The existing account was created for Anarchy Online and I would like to continue using that username.
Right now I can log into manage the account, but when I enter the CD Key it prompts me to create a new account and forces me to change my username since that one already exists.
Anyone have any ideas?

Yes i had to create a new user name but this is only associated with AoC. It wouldnt let me use my exisiting name so i added the number 100 to the end of it to fix it.
It confused me as well. Funcoms whole account system needs work imo. I hate to say it but i prefer SOE's.
Oddly enough this same company had registration issues when they released AO....has me scared. but it's confusing because the site is not intuitive...maybe a cultural thing. I had to click "Use a key to add..." link then I had to click "Create New Subscription"
