War Mammoth question

in Age of Conan: Unchained

I preordered the game yesterday and I received the email with the special code for the war mammoth today. However, I don't have the game yet. Is there a specific date that I have to enter my code by? Also, do I need a certain skill to ride the mammoth, or can I create my character and ride my war mammoth instantly?  Thanks in advance!

    I haven't heard of a specific date to enter your code but you can head on over to http://refister.ageofconan.com and enter it now,

     

    In order to ride your mammoth you have to be level 40.
