Most positive reasons/differences to play this

My list at lvl 19 so far is

no repairs for gear at all

all quest givers voice everything(not just text)

graphics (hands down best i"ve seen) for mmo

audio (nothing is annoying) so far..good subtle music

gear not overpowered or under...player makes his toon shine or fail from skill

gear not overpowered or under...player makes his toon shine or fail from skill -- True if you are melee, as caster (with casting concentration skill maxed) there is much less challenge/skill involved.

Personally I prefer games with item decay. And a game where you actually have to buy arrows instead of a never-ending quiver. But these are our own opinions.

 

I think the graphics are pretty good in AoC, the water especially looks amazing. The sound is pretty good, they could have made a few more voice sets and more random sounds playing for hit/swing effects but overall, it's pretty good.And I could care less about voice overs, again it's a matter of preference.
