reminder it's about that time...

backup your data including you email data & profiles.

 

i've spent almost all day weeding thru corrupt files and trying to recover my email box with 4 gig worth of data in it. most of it's just plain toast. luckily i was at least able to recover my sent box which helps alot.

    why would anyone keep their email on their computer .. ever? I format my computer like every 3 months anyways and save everything toi flash and disc, the only point in my hard drive is for temporary data storage.

    Even your business computer?  I back everything up on a daily basis but I keep my email on my PC so I can quickly and easy look up any old messages.

    I use an external hard drive on my business computer, as well as the regular hd. Inever use it  for anything but work. I do not check email on it.  I have 6 computers to choose from so there is no reason to.

    Exactly. They store the emails, give you folders to organize them. Never risk losing them. I don't see the point in anyone having them on the hard drive .. ever.
