Well, two days into the game and i already canceled my subscription. Was what I thought it would be. A $50 lesson to be sure. But it was only $50, no biggie. I still go in for 12 hours of overtime and make a extra $450 tonight. I'll try to finish my month here and there in between other games I play. Maybe in a few months I'll reactivate it to see if I can find any renewed hope in it. This was the shortest live MMO I have ever play. I have played almost every major MMO out there too.
Buh bi.
Hope the next MMO you try out ends up more to your liking

I for one am curious as to why you included that bit of information. It actually makes me question if you even have a job.

Where's the rest of the post ? I read it thinking you would include why you cancelled your sub in 2 days.
Give the OP a break. Some of you keep saying he never gave a reason. He did it was not what he thought it was.
He thought he was getting the Barbie Horse Adventures: Mystery Ride game. You know almost every girl dreams of owning a horse. If you like that title I might also recommend Hello Kitty Online. Both easily mistaken for Age of Conan.
My daughter absolutely loves Barbie Horse Adventures. She just can't get enough of them horses. Hello Kitty Online has potential, but it needs a few good months of polishing before it can be taken seriously. But Barbie Horse Adventures defitinely has a bright future.

You must have a short attention span, and therefore MMO's in general are NOT for you! Seriously all you posted is that you left, no real reason why. So WHY should we care. ANyways disregard this post as im just bored waiting for servers to come up. Hopefully you didn't make this post thinking people were going to follow you. This is not Jerry Mcguire, and you don't have a fish bowl in your hands. Any chance you actually want to give us your reasoning? Or are you just trolling away?
You knock the guy for quitting a linear quest grind and tell him he "has a short attention span" and that "MMO's" are not for him. Could it be that players such as yourself who require constant direction and hand-holding are the ones with the attention deficit?
MMO's are about freedom and consequences while roaming a dangerous and vast, mysterious fantasy world. RPG's are about linear game pathing and constant direction. You are the one not up for playing a true MMO.
obviously u havent made it past the first island... and thus have no reasoning and cant put down a game u havent played long enough.. theres the door.... now leave

And if I did make it past the island and to level 30 or 40, you'd likely tell me I was foolish for putting so much time into a game I didn't like.
The tutorial and noob island is the problem, People. You will see what I mean in a couple of months as people drop out, either from not liking the island the first time through or from it being a maddening repetition after the fourth or fifth alt.
Linear RPG's are not MMO's. Take no skill to play a linear spoon-fed quest game. Not worth any real gamer's time.

If you didn't like the game then great go back to w/e mmo you like. If people cant be bothered to atleast get past the first island..then they obviously dont know what MMO's are about. Someone said that this game is awesome but takes time to get into..just like a Movie.
if that guy canceled his Sub 2 days after playing then thats great, MANY people cancel there subscriptions but dont come onto a forum saying "Hey i just canceled" that is just an attetion seeking loner. If theres something you didn't like about the game fine, just quit, but dont cry about it after, get on with your life and play a different game.

I bought Tabula Rasa, played for a couple weeks, and didn't like the game. I chalked it up as a loss and moved on. I didn't post day and night in the TR forums about how sucky I thought the game was. Infact, I didn't post at all about it. To each his own, and it wasn't for me.
I can understand posting once or twice, but constantly posting your dislikes here (like it's your rl job) is ridiculous to say the least.
Now we have these guys like Pencilrick posting nonstop. I mean look at his posts and the times.
Grow up, and move on people. We got your point and it is noted.

Rather No Job at all than a Job at McDonalds tbh
I know Ronald McDonald personally and trust me when I say this. He absolutely adores gamers. He'd hire a gamer in a hot second. Especially the ones who play AOC.
I thought the Tortage area was optional after your first toon. Once you got your first character off the island, all your alts created after that could be started at level 20 and skip the tutorial...
No I don't work for him you silly goose. I work with him. I'm sort of like a contractor. On occassion he'll pay me to do things for him. And on other occassions I'll pay him to do things for me. It's all apart of the business my boy. It's all apart of the game.

I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy AoC.
This may be irrelevant, and I am assuming that you make $25 an hour from what you mentioned, but in many states overtime becomes double-rate once you've spent over 12 hours for that day. I'm not sure about Virginia, but if you already had work hours today, you may be underpaid at $450 for 12 hours tonight.
Just playing, I hope you find more enjoyment while trying out your next MMO!
i have a friend who would love to have your accoumt. if you pm me, maybe he'll be down to pay you 10-20$ (he's jobless right now)
If he's jobless, then shouldn't that be his priority?
Seeing as you answered to your own post, but yet to give us your reasoning. I call this troll! Goodluck with VG, hopefully in a few years they might actually have a development team that can produce maybe a half an expansion.
Edi: Not all of us read peoples past threads, especially when were reading threads made by someone as cool as you. As stated previously, if you want to make a thread like this, then give a reason. If not then go re post back in your original thread, smart guy.
No need to ba an ass, son... I have no reason to explain myself. I made a statment and backed it up pretty well for those who can understand English.
