i cant see any spell particles or any type of spells being cast

i dont get to see the cool fire, or anything in this game ....anyone know whats up?

i play on shader 3.0  and most of my setting arent half bad...i get good frame rates....but i dont get to see any of my spells being cast... any ideas?

dell xps m1710 notebook

core 2 duo 2.3

go 7950gtx

2gb ram

xp sp 2

installing the latest drivers is the most common fix for this issue....may want to uninstall your old drivers, then boot up into safe mode and run drivercleaner (or a similar program) before installing new drivers.
