So how many 'Drinking Cape's do I need for doing Nothing?

Ok, just got a third email stating my long-trustworthiness and got another cape key.

My extent of interaction with the game has been playing in the last week of the closed beta for about a day, and now 1 day with retail.

wth?

LOL! Sorry, just kind of find that funny... I checked my e-mails after reading this and it appears I have two now... yeah that is a pickle right there.

The good thing is I can give the extra one I got now to a friend who was looking for one who didn't subscribe to the newsletter! Still very odd, though... going to be having a lot of people with drinking capes, that's for sure.

Do you think the taverns would run out of beer eventually?

It seems those that had been signed up for the Newsletter got one, those that were in beta, and perhaps those who made early access.  Its all good this way I can have one on all of my characters

    It's a Jeep thing. . .

You'd think Funcom could use an algorithm to at least verify an account had logged in before awarding the capes.  A coworker of mine had been unable to participate in beta due to "technical issues" with the beta client (at least three tries that I know of), though he was invited back in early April or so.

He's got a drinking cape key now, though.  As the OP said - "long trustworthiness".   Heh.

Afterthought:   Really, is anyone going to complain about "free beer" as a feature?
