vista 32bit, 2.4 q6600(quad), 2GB ram, 8600 GTS(256MB)
i currently play @ 1680*1050, vsync forced on-medium with shader 2.0. in tortage i get 20fps and its smooth. white sands i can 30-40 consistently smooth. the textures in tortage are dull until i get closer to them and they load in to medium settings. its all smooth but i wish to jack up some settings. my display is capable of 1920*1200.
8800 GT OC2 512MB is on the way- can i play at 1920* on high settings with 3.0 shaders?

at 1920 res i would say no, simply because the 2gig ram is going to be a problem, as Vista alone takes half that. Also with an 8800gtx you would be pushing it with everything on.*
*I dont own the game, and is based purly on experience xD
edit: what film is the quote in your sig from its getting on my nerves
edit2:added more beef to my initial response
grab 2 more gigs of ram for 40-50 bucks and you're set.
If only SW:TOR could be this epic...
vista 32bit- can i put 4GB in? or i should say will 4 gig register with vista 32bit?

I have an 8800GTS (the older 640 meg one), 2 gigs RAM, 3.0 ghz dual core CPU. I run a consistent 19-30 FPS pretty much everywhere running with all options maxed at 1900x1200.
I would suggest getting more ram though, I get occasional freezes in large battles.
Vista 32-Bit will TECHNICALLY support 4 gigs RAM. There's a bit of overhead involved though, so it won't really register more than 3.5 or so. However, that should still make a major difference.
To get over that you need 64-bit Vista, and that's a pain in the butt.
Yeah Weird Science(1985):
Lisa: You know, there's going to be sex, drugs, rock-n-roll... chips, dips, chains, whips... You know, your basic high school orgy type of thing. I mean, uh, I'm not talking candlewax on the nipples, or witchcraft or anything like that, no, no, no. Just a couple of hundred kids running around in their underwear, acting like complete animals.
