AoC Disk Not Detected
Basically the issue is my drive is not detecting the AoC installation disk. I tried some other games to make sure the drive still works and they were detected and read perfectly fine. I've already exchanged the AoC disk for another thinking I may have just had a faulty disk and received the same results. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver as well. I've made certain I had all Windows updates and driver updates.
Sooo....wondering if anyone else knows a solution or am I going to have to buy another driver. Thanks for any assistance given.

erm.....forgive me for asking a ridiculously silly question but....Your CD drive is a DVD drive isn't it?
Even so, in the past, certain models and manufacturers of DVD drives didn't like certain DVD disc types. It sounds strange but it happens.
Also, check for grubby finger marks and scratches on the reading surface.
Have you tried the CD's in a friends DVD drive on his computer to see if they are read correctly?
If so can you copy some of the files from that CD into a folder on the hard drive on your friends machine (to test if it truely can be read fine)?

Well it appears you nailed it. Just tried it on our other computer and it worked. So I guess this drive isn't able to read it and I'll probably have to buy another since my other computer isn't strong enough to play the game at the levels I would wish. Thanks for the advice.
