As the title states keep getting this when trying to upgrae my account with a retail key.
I hear the EU servers are down could this be the cause?
I have followed the instructions on entering the key to the letter and have also sent an email to support.
Would a kind soul please check the official forums to see if there is any information on this from Funcom please.

This message means that your account is active. Trying to re-type your retail key will will display this message. Did you try to login in the game and failed?
I have the almost same problem. exept i get the authentication error when trying to log in. its pretty annoying acctually... and my forum account doesnt work. dunno why but some help would be appreciated:D

Same problem here, entering the collectors edition activation key comes up with no offer found. Anyone got this working yet?
You and hundreds of people in the European forums have exactly the same problem. If they don't fix their database soon heads will really roll.
I had the same problem with the rhino key, i just waited as a mature person (cursing and hiting my head at the monitor) until next morning and tried again. I just kept trying until it was consumed. Another issue is that even you get this message the key updates the database. Heavy overload and ...

for Crom's sake fix these problems.
Well i'm stunned I am playing AoC with my pre order key only lol. Only the bow is showing as my items available on the register sight and it still wont validate my CE retail key.
1. Use no numbers in password
I figured I'd make a new thread so it'd be visible instead of posting somewhere on the end of a fairly long post.
Those who are having this issue, do you by any chance have any numbers in your password? If this is the case, please go to register.ageofconan.com and change your password to letters only.

22:07 GMT Update: Keep in mind that changing the password on the account control panel only changes your in-game password.
2. If you have the wrong version (US instead of EU).
European customers can solve this by downloading the attached LocalConfig.xml file to the location you installed Age of Conan to (default: C:Program filesFuncomAge of Conan) and replace the existing one.
If you in addition experience patch problems please run the SimpleConfig.exe found in the installation folder (default: C:Program filesFuncomAge of Conan) as follows:
After this you should be able to patch and start the game.
Please download the client only from the official Funcom source to avoid such problems.
