However for the full participation in all the major types of RvR, and that's including city sieges, you'll have to grind up to.... gasp... level 7! That's approximately when you can travel to your capital and first scenarios start.
Btw the chicken rule works only for high tier characters in low tier PvP areas. You can bunch up your noob guildmates and try to swarm lone enemies in higher tiers. From what I heard power difference between low and high levels is going to be quite smaller than in PvE-based games we're used to so expect more intermingling between different tiered characters.
Wont u lack in gear if u do nothing but rvr from lvl 1 to 40?
Not necessarily no, you can get gear from PvP as well. (although it might be through PvP quests as well)
For example one of the better chest pieces I believe drops from the main guy that defends a keep. (so ... err... sort of PvP lol since that will be an NPC ^^)
You gain loot from doing PvP. Count on Keep Lords having really good loot items. In addition, doing PvP gives you Renown XP and increases your Renown Rank, giving you access to Renown rewards.

Yes, from what I understand the Keep Lords will tend to have the top PvP Chest Pieces for each tier.

Mythic has said numerous times that it will be possible to go from level one to the max level only by participating in RvR combat. Yes
STOP WHINING!
No such thing as luck, just believing in it is what makes it real to you and really...thats all you need.
Im on nobodies' side but my own.
You should get your first taste of RVR in the first few mins of the game. That's what one of the devs said. (Can't remember which)
You can open world RvR from level one.
