Seeing as though this game didn't have a real Open Beta but just a closed stress test that was called an Open beta, did this actually help or hurt the game?
In my case, I actually bought the game, but still haven't opened it and I don't think I intend to. I really don't like to play an MMO without trying it out first (hence - Open Beta) and there are many others like that as well.
On the other hand, it seems many people bought the game based on early "open beta" reviews and now are saying there isn't much going on past the first few days of gameplay (although I hear the game is great early on, but leaves much to be desired afterwards).
I actually really did want to play this game, but my $50 could be spend much better if I end up not liking the game - I have enough cupholders and cardboard boxes laying around my house

eh those things dont really make much differences anyways
People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
It helped immensely.
I mean, did anyone actually believe they left the NDA in place all the way up until days before release "in order to preserve the integrity of higher level content"?
