Please help- can my comp run this??

in Age of Conan: Unchained

I am ordering a new laptop for this game and i have the following one in mind

can someone please read it and tell me if i can run? i think all the specs are ok except the CPU

can anyone reccomend me another model (price range 1000-1600) if that cant run it

    its a laptop.  You're gonna get a lot of lag even with those specs.  Get a PC with similiar specs. 1. It'll save you about 400 dollars and 2. Itll be more stable for AoC

    There really isnt a laptop that will make the game perform smoothly. :(

    I wish I could give you better news than that.  You can buy that laptop and you can certainly play it. It just wont be on great settings. 

    Look around tho and get a second opinion about this. But Ive heard stories with AoC and laptops concerning performance. Wish I could give you better news. Maybe someone here is palying AoC on a laptop with great results. Hopefully, they'll see this and help you out.

    what do you mean smoothly? i dont mind playing on low-medium but anyways, can you reccommend me a good PC for this game?

    No if you want to game steer clear of laptops, The majority of comonents on laptops are all integrated which spells disaster for gaming. The only laptops able to play the newer games are mainly the alienwares in 3000$ range, because alienwares have upgradeable video cards.

    Do not buy a laptop if you want to game.....End of Story!

    Although I agree with everyone above that you shouldn't game on a laptop the one you linked to should run it fine.

    NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800M GTS Graphics (512MB Dedicated Memory)

    That should be just fine to run it,  along with the 3gigs RAM and the Intel Duo it has (and the 7200rpm hdd helps).

     

    It might not make it to High settings though.

     

    FYI I cannot be sure exactly how it will run if at all. I am just saying if I was buying that laptop I would believe it would run the game fine.
