are the collecters eddition still out or are they sold out

    They are still available. Check Amazon, I'm sure you'll find some.

    You can probably get a CE up untill they announce an open beta start. Once they announce that thoes that are waiting will want to get in and go buy there copy.

    Considering that they are only making 60k units of the CE, you may want to look into finding a copy of the pre-order box, as they won't be around forever.  Check your local Best Buy etc. before heading the online ordering path.  In the recent wake of the Age of Conan fiasco, where online retailers were over selling more copies than they legitimately had to provide, there were a lot of people that placed pre-orders for the CE that came up empty handed and had to take a regular retail copy instead.

    Just a note, if you preorder from amazon, you will get the codes in your downloads section of your media library.  For the Open beta, it says the code expires June 10th.  The other two codes (headstart and items) are good until December 31st.

    Actually the in-game items code doesn't expire until December 31st 2009. 

    The Head Start is Dec, 31st 2008 and the Open Beta Access is June 10th.

    GOA poorly managed the CE, at least in the country I'm living right now. I had to check once in a while the only retail store availabe (FNAC). The guys over there kept on saying they had no information about any game called Warhammer: Age of Reckoning. Of course the CE was already out (at least on-line).

    From what it's stated on WAR-EU - it's sold out.

    I'm getting pretty pissed off at GOA (or at elast I think it's their fault - so much less info is thrown out at future EU gamers it makes me sick) - Sorry for the rant but that's what I feel at the moment.

    They may even loose money/gamers like this...

    From what I understand according to what was released back during the Paris event, all the EU versions of the game will work. Each one is supposed to have all the supported languages on it. If you cannot find a copy in country, just order one from another country if you can.

    I ordered it from Play.com just a few days after CE was announced. But Play.com won't ship that item (CE) outside its border (UK). So once again thanks a lot because I was actually afraid the game would be in, for example, German if ordered from Germany.



    I'll then try to order it from another country.

    I pre-ordered the CE today from a gamestop.  Is their anything stoping them from selling more CE's then their actually are?  I dont want to show up when the game is released just to find out they pre-sold more then they actuall had and now i dont even get a CE.  They were out the of the "Rave Cards" when i went their.  I could easily see people showing up at a retail store to pick up their CE and they dint have as many as they sold.  Dint the same thing happen with AOC CE?

    I was in Best Buy last weekend and there were 2 pre-order copies of the CE right on the shelf so I picked them up. So I know of one store where they are now out off stock.

    In Malta we've some how managed to get a 100 copies of the Pre-Order package for the CE which is a first. We managed to sell a total of 3 since we've been keeping a bit quite about having them until we known if we are actually going to get the CE or not. Just hope we don't get screwed over. Anyway 97 CE Pre-orders still to sell.

    I just hope GOA don't screw this up and there are less CE Boxes then there are pre-orders.
