OH MY GOD!!!!

in Everquest II
I just went out and got the character customization cd.  The options are ENDLESS!!!!  The graphics are insane.  It appears as if the actual characters are real, living, breathing, people!!!  With all the options possible it will almost be impossible to find 2 people who look a like!!!  God this game will kick @$$!!!!

    Yeah its so freaking amazing the npc voices and sounds are equivalent to over 65 average movies.

    And I saw the character creation on the new video on thier site damn why cant they release it in sept

    I downloaded the Char creation CD cuz I couldnt wait for mine to come in the mail from an online pre order... I must say there are alot of options for customisation. Made my chars already and they look sweet =D

    My question is why would they send out char creation CDs when they are changing the char models?? Everyones gonna have to change their chars again arent they?

    I just downloaded this character creation thing because my guild was blabberin about it and whoa! i was blown away by how much more beautiful the characters look when they move or sway or whatever. All i have to say is KICKASS!!!!!! I managed to make a barbarian look evil with all their customization and now my char will be a barbarian sk!

    I do always say taste the rainbow but i always sift through my bag o' skittles to get to the white ones.

    They said the newest character models are on the disc, like the new human, dark elf etc. the only thing different will be a few little customizations which can be added.changed when you enter your character in a server and name it.

    Now lets just hope that the gameplay in 2 is better. Is anyone ever gonna make an mmorpg that has gameplay like shadowbane, but dosent suck in the char creation and development system?

    ok i downloaded it but my pc doesnt know what program to run it with, i am downloading bitTorrent 3.4 will that work?

    If you downloaded the EQCC file you just need to burn it to a CD or just use a CD drive emulator(Daemon Tools for example) to run it without burning to a cd to install the char creation program to your comp.

    To get mine, i just went over to my local gamestop, i had preordered mine about a month ago, so i just asked if they had gotten any, the person behind the counter reached under the counter, and pulled out a few!!!  I was soooo happy! image

    You get one by preordering the game, my gamestop may have gotten them before others, but eventually, you will get one by preordering. image

    Yea I preordered online though and I wont get the CD till next week or so and I couldnt wait that long so I desided to download it to fiddle around with it =P

    Too bad you can't see what frogloks look like. image (not that i was going to play one)  I love Eq2!!!  All the customization.........amazing.

    Have you looked at trolls customization.  Some of their accesories inculde nails imbeded in their head......freaky.image

    Interesting, didnt know they had this out. How big is the file? I tried going to Suprnova but it tried to get me to pay to download....from a bittorrent grr. Could you link the exact page to download it? Or if it isnt too big, transfer it to me?

    Nice barbarian, and you dont have to pay they want you to but just click no, as long as you dont type in your credit card number you should be ok : ), i cant wait when i wake up i can start on my character creation but it has to last me a few months till the game comes out.

    Well, neither EQ2 pre-order disk files on Suprnova work. They are very quick up to about 20 percent and then just freeze. I guess i'll either pre-order or wait for some new files on SN.

    I downloaded the EQCC file, its was an .nrg file as well. I used Windows to copy the file to a CD-R disc and its finished.

    But now I still cannot run the Character program. When I click on the CD drive it merely opens up the CD-R as a folder. Is there a specific way that it needs to be burned to a CD?

    Yeah, the local gamestop finally got the Discs in and I picked them up. The character creation tool is pretty awesome, probably the only MMORPG that passes it would COH.

    when you burn most things they come in wierd formats... if you get daemeon tools... or another program like it runs files that are in those wierd formats though I do not know how its going to work with a cd.
