Right now i'm running
Two duo Intel Pentium 4. 3.06ghz
512 MB NVIDIA Gefore 8400 GS
1GB of RAM
33gb free disk space.
On Age of conan, i'm at around 1-32 fps on low settings. My fps jumps down alot. Then it's fine. In Tortrage i'm at 5-20. And it's never steady fps what's the problem? I thought my ram was the problem, considering aoc is only 20-30 on my CPU in my task manager? Would more ram make my game less chompy and run alittle more smoothly?

1 gig is pretty much crap for all MMO's.
i remember when i had 1 gig and trying WoW and getting the odd lag fest. stuck in another 512mb (all i could afford at the time) and bam. lag gone and i was a happy camper.
if you want to play some serious games then i suggest 2-4 gig
for your setup i think 3 gig would be perfect. grab 4 if you plan on going to an 8800 or a 9 something AND use vista.
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
Alright thanks!
So my cpu isn't the problem? I was going to to get 2x 1 GB and stick at 3gb. Right now i have have 2x 512 ram sticks.
Your CPU should be alright.
But another thing might be your HD space. If a HD is getting full, it can slow things down as well. Best to keep the used space below 75% (or at least 90%), and if you are reaching the limit then defrag it often.
