"Can you run it?" system req checker page

You select a game from the drop down selection list and it will analyze your system if you meet the system requirements for that game. It shows a graphical interface whether you passed for the minimal requirement or the recommended requirement. If you fail, it will recommend what you can do to make your system meet the requirements. I like it because it is accurate in its analysis of the games I play.

What do you think?

Not accurate at all..It basically checks your hardware to see if it matches the games minimum and maximum requirements  but really  it's like looking at a game box..just because you may be above minimum you won't know how it runs till you actually run it....It told me that i could run empire Earth great maxed out..No way till i put a better video card in my computer.

Problem with doing this, you can't use the minimum requirements for most of these games.  Prime example, AoC running minimum requirements is a joke, it gets such low fps you can hardly even move.  Let's face it, manufacturers want to sell games, so most minimum requirements are way understated,  AoC's recommended is actually a real minimum.  So you run into the immediate problem of using bad reference points to start with.

Very nice, Ive been looking for a place like that so I don't have to google it everytime I want the specifications weeeey! *thumbs up* ^^

Yeah, I think it's a great site, and of course, just barely making the minimum specs doesn't necessarily mean you'll be able to play, just use some common sense. It is much more convienent than reading, what? 5-8 values and checking them against your own every time you want to try a new game... I just make sure I'm at or above the recommended and then it's all good.

A minimum requirement for a game is always not enough to play a game without problems, dont forget that. And this is what such pages do, they compare minimum requirements with your hardware. This is totally not acceptable if you want to enjoy a game.

Minimum requirement is only the description to run the game, but it is not the requirement to play the game fluently without any stutters, hickups or any other problems.
