Need to relieve my anger

I mean what the fu*k?

I paid 50 euros for this overhyped piece of trash. I know its new and all but when things like banks, talents, stats dont work....  Why on earth would they release so unfinished product???

They don't even respond emails and I cant even acces the official forums. Does the dev team even post on those forums? They should at least say "sorry" or something

this is just so unbelieveable, why aren't there any news on the official page?? why don't they write something about fixing the game. it seems like they dont care about paying customers? they wasted like 5 years of producing and the result is this? my head is boiling and I just can't take this anymore

I don't like wow but Blizzard sure knows some things about customer service...

The lack of communication is awful..

generally the official forums are awful..

Also we cant even read US forums, just like they can not read the EU ones..

All of my expeirences with MMO's that i have played which is around 12 of them, is that the customer service is a joke with them. They just want your money and don't truly care whether u feel sastisfied with the game and besides on the box u bought of AoC, on the back im sure it says game expeirence may change, which means it will be a whole lot different in 6 months or a year from now. So cheer up mate and wait it out u might see it improve or just get worse. But remember the customer service peeps won't care either way on how u feel just that they got your 50 euros.

Smarter than the average bear? That is assuming bears are smart.

Ignore the OP (Omppu), it's almost certainly an alternate account made by Draccan (second poster on this thread).

Joined today, claims to be from Finland and his name is a Finnish word, but Draccan's Finnish skills apparently ended there because the city name (in Omppu's profile) is written in Swedish. And Draccan would easily make the mistake of writing the city name in Swedish since Swedish and Danish are so much alike, and he is from Danmark (at least he tells he is).

I can't believe you went through all that analysation to prove something that doesn't even matter. Who cares if he made an alt and then backed up his own point. If it's an invalid point, it doesn't matter who, and how many backs it up, use your own brains.

Blizzard does know a thing or two about making a good game, but customer service? Right. My account got banned for giving my roommate 300 gold I farmed in a day to help towards his epic mount. The gm, even with both of us on, being in the same guild, and constantly grouping together on just about all our characters, thought we were somehow both gold farmers and banned us. Talking to him, sending emails to customer support, ect, proved fruitless and was just frustrating.

No big deal at the time, perhaps there was a day when I would of been in a blood rage, but at this point I shrugged and used the extra time to work on my writing, reading, and catch up on some rpg's. Eight months later, I get a message saying "Sorry! We appologize for the misunderstanding and would like to let you know your account can now be reactivated!". Right.

Simply a single tale out of the many I have had with Blizzard's customer support throughout their games, not just WoW. What a joke, good customer support..bah.

The fact that the account was created today and it is his 1rst post should play a part in judging whether it be trusted or not.

It doesn't matter, but it helps in showing whether OP is bias or not.

Do not tell anyone to use their brains when you don't do it yourself.

Oh wow u aparently dont play world of warcraft. Blizzard is pathetic at fixing things unless it is going to affect players benifiting from it (I.E items,  leveling quicker, more powerful skills then intended) i have played wow since open beta no point in trying to argue this point their customer service blows

Another die hard AoC who can't take the fact that the game is flawed in so many ways. In this instance someone actually went and took the time trying to find anything to discredit another fellow member . As I have said on several occasions in my blog and on other forum posts Funcom has decided to make a game without market research and the way they handle their customers is not satisfactory.

Ive always had great luck with WoWs customer service and ingame GMs.  AoCs on the other hand, is lacking badly just like the game itself.  Looks like Ill be sticking with WoW until another new mmo comes out and hopefully gets the job done right.

Are you surprised customer service isn't as good as WoW's? A game that's a week old has lots of things like bugs broken quests etc. to attend to. There is much polishing and delicate stuff to make right to improve your gaming experience.

Do not compare customer service in a 4year old game with a 1week old game.

personally, I'm loving the game.  Is it perfect?  Hell no, but it is damn good for what they got in there.  Sure, I'd like to see the traders in game, but the game has run stable for me since launch and I've had no problems beyond minor annoyances.

As for the boards, here is something "I" found that works.  When it says your username/password isn't correct, click the forgot password link (even if you know your password).  Once you get your email, use the random password there to log in and then change your password to what you wanted again.  It has worked for me a couple times now to get in when I've gotten that error.

I agree with Aminia. I played wow since open beta as well, and it has been that way. Conan reminds me of EQ 1 when it came out actually. some people still had just a 2d graphics card. They sold that dual PCI setup so you could run 2 cards to render. The big card name at the time was voodoo. the people that had the voodoo ran it fine and told everyone else they had outdated systems. History repeats itself.

    Just talking newer tech.

A friend bought conan and has the "minimum" specs. He gets 5-15 fps. No spell particle effects, and got totally frustrated and quit.

I just got a new system (not the elite stuff people buy) for me and my wife. The total for both with shipping was just over $1300.

It's really not that huge a deal. Got amd x2 4200+, 2GB ram, 320mb HDD 7200, asus m2n sli 560, and the biggest item was a 9600gt. End result 58+ fps average. This isn't all settings maxed..by far from it. The only setting that I upped was anti-aliasing x16. I did see up to 65.5 fps at times...and also as low as 38.8 fps.

As far as costumer support I don't know how big their staff is. Could be 1 guy that has to take down all the complaints, go to 5 meetings. At the end of 2 weeks time he actually can get back on the forum and write something like. "We are aware of some difficulties players are experienceing and we are working on it."

No offense but you must accept a lot of garbage if this is your outlook. Customer service is a #1 priority in ANY industry and it takes place immediately upon release of a product. Especially when a new product has a rocky start. The best thing a company with issues can do is respond to customers so they don't feel alienated and alone. When a customer service group doesn't respond, people get justifiably angry when they are being ignored and they've just spent good cash.

Bad, Bad, and more Bad for business.

My outlook is that I can understand and wait a bit.

I would'nt want to be in their shoes right now, what with all the impatient pr*cks hammering down on them.

However I am known to be patient, and I know there are some people who are not.
