Choosing the right US server.

Do not jump into AoC without knowing something about the servers, especially if youre guildless or plan on playing by yourself. One of the most important choices you make is choosing which server to spend your time on like with any other MMO.

Here's some suggestions for which server to start out on:

Wiccana (PVE)- the community-designated RP-PVE server, so lots of RP possibility with no ganking, the perfect "safe" RP server.

Deathwhisper and Tyranny (PVP)- the two most popular PVP servers, BEWARE before choosing these. They are both hosts to a horde of ruthless, ganking and spawn-camping guilds. Soloing here is difficult.

Cimmeria (RP-PVP)- If you're looking for a quieter PVP server with a lot of RP guilds on it, then Cimmeria is the perfect choice. Dozens of veteran RP guilds who've been with the AoC community for years have started out on this server and have established things like non-aggression pacts and declarations of war, so there is alot of community interaction.

Bane (culture PVP)- A sort of Realm VS Realm type PVP server, great RP oppurtunities as well since all groups and guilds can be with people of the same race. Its Cimmerians VS Stygians VS Aquilonians.

Doomsayer (PVP) and Zug (PVE)- Both servers with french outlets, perfect for all the frenchies!
