Patching problems

in Age of Conan: Unchained

So, I stepped away from the game for the weekend to see that there have been a few big updates.  Yay.  The problem lies with that my patcher keeps patching the same 16.5mb file over and over and over and over and over.  It says it's up-to-date, I click play, patcher re-opens and downloads the same 16.5mb file.

My AoC forum reg didnt go through yet, Im gonna post there as well, but anyone have any history with this or am I alone?

    I had the same problem. There is an instance of AoC running in the background. Apparenty Funcom is unable to detect their own program running and will patch it over and over.  You need to to stop the process via CTL ALT DEL and task manger if you know how to do that. If not just simply reboot.
