This game is not wow. Stop comparing it to wow. Give the game a chance for a few months and see if you enjoy it or not. I've played this since closed beta to release and the game keeps improving. It was rushed a little but they all have deadlines and this isn't blizzard, where they can't push back release dates after release dates.
Again, it's not the GAME , it's who runs it. Sorry, but i don't see any reason to give Funcom some slack because i paid them 50 bucks.
FFS, if you are publishing a game - do it right. Getting tired to hear excuses . Give ppl technical support. Deal with Major (not minor) bugs already. Moreover, start communicating to the gamers who buy the game.
Major and Minor bugs to you and to the professional programmers are two different things, Like I said though in any company Money is a huge factor in its Product output. Games have tons and tons of wrinkles that need to be smoothed out during the course of the game. Note Lack of money isnt an excuse not having enough money to do everything is normal for any blooming company.

Dude, you sound like a stroke. Give it up or go complain on Blizzard's forums. I'm tired of the juvenille whining.
It's retarded threads like this that make me not want to visit this place anymore.
me too, it's getting pretty lame. To the people who make these threads: I like AoC, you may love WoW or whatever game; just quit posting the trash talk, this place is starting to look like a garbage heap.
Hey, go, don't let the door hit you in the as...
Only disturbing thing I've really heard so far is the poor customer support by Funcom, sounds like they got overwealmed.

and I'm tired of ppl like who will take any crap from a corporate company, grow up and don't be a fanboi
Were not fan boi's by far, We are just giving this game the fair chance it deserves before it gets bashed by people like you who have such short vision you'd pass as being blind.
First read this review to get a good and authentic impression on the game. Second, the way i see it? The game is fun in certain aspects. Nevertheless, Funcom attitude and lack of management skill really make me sad. I almost want that Blizzard would have produced AoC. They would never allow the game to come to this situation.
It's NOT a review, if you had actually read what you linked, you'd know that.
It's the authors first impressions, he makes it very clear that it is not a review and that is important because, as he points out:
"It's impossible to give a fair review of a huge MMO game within few days of a launch. Some journalists apparently think it's fine to review the game based on first ten levels, some publisher-supplied screenshots and other second-hand material. I personally despise such "reviews", and scores dished out to MMOs very early should be taken with some reservations. The truth is that nobody has really played Age of Conan like it is as a finished game, simply because it wasn't anywhere near finished until last week."
Perhaps if you read what you linked, you'd realise the irony of this particular situation, but I doubt you will appreciate it until someone explains it to you....but im not going to waste my time...
Expresso gave me a Hearthstone beta key.....I'm so happy
I think funcom is doing great as i said before. Also if there was a Blizzard tag on the box all the wow fanbois would buy this game. There are already enough of them playing this and i personally think that we dont need more of them. Im already getting tired of reading OOC chat and seeing chuck norris jokes the only mmo that does that is WOW.
Enough with this wow fanboi issue. Can u really generalize the entire 10 million poplation? im 35y married , with a full time job job and love wow. Not all are kids. You should actually hope that AoC would get 10 million ppl after 4y. It would make the game a lot better over time.
Clearly not all the wow players are 13 year old kids who think the way they talk in WoW is the standard for the rest of the industry. I thoroughly enjoyed WoW for some time as well and I amd 35, and have a child as well.
I've got friends that still play that are my age, with teenage sons and daughters like myself, and families to take care of, etc.
But the generalization stems from the attitude and general maturity level of the entire community of WoW. The small percentage of those like us who play it are dominated by the masses of kids (or adults acting like children) who make up the games community.
So for us, the minority, theres little we can do about it.
Thankfully I left WoW out of mind-numbing boredom some months ago. The end game is the worst I've ever seen in an MMOG. I truly believe the only reason folks stick around for it is because at least 85% of WoW players are new to the genre, so they don't know any other way. But if they went out their and maxed out in just one other decent MMOG they'd realize what a shit house WoW end game really is.
AoC is my new home and I'm loving it. And it very clearly has the potential for one of the best end-games in the industry.
