I dont know if this applies to your situation but, sometimes if you crash or logout improperly the next time you try to log in you can get that error.
Just trying to log in a 2nd time you wont get it.
Dont know if that will help but I hope it does.
I read they handed out invalid keys in some boxes. Contact funcom via mail, but as I hear expect a LONG wait line. Days, maybe weeks.
