Your computer uses a motherboard thats like 6 years old. You won't really be able to upgrade it. Even if you did, it would be more expensive because of the parts. Like RDRam is super expensive with no beneficial effects over DDR2.
hate to say it, but your better off trying to sell that dinosaur to some idiot on ebay and using the money to get yourself a new dual core PC for about a thousand dollars. Here are my specs.
AMD 64 ATHLON X2 4600
Nvidia 8800 GTS 320 mb
4 Gig Ram
ASUS NFORCE 590 MB
Western Digital 250 GIG HD
Overall, I spent 900.00 dollars for everything but the Graphics card and 2 gigs of ram. At the time I had a Nvidia 7900 GT with just 2 gigs of ram. You could basically get what I got and probalby not even spend 900.00,,,provided u settle with only 2 gigs of memory and a 7900 GT graphics card instead of 4 gigs of memory and a 8800 GTS.. Your choice, but upgrading your current PC would be pointless and stupid...

Guys, he's saying "upgrade" but it really isn't. He said he wants to get a new motherboard, ram, vidcard, cpu. Essentially a new computer with exception to HD and PSU.
Again, list a budget, or certain products your considering and someon with a lot of experience - looking at you cleffy - will surely help you.

And putting a computer together is like assembling a 4 piece jigsaw puzzle. Its really simple.
