I have looked at the site for hellgate and I can see that with patch 2.0 we will almost have the game we were promised in Beta. I went from a probable founder w/ both a regular and a LE preorder to not even buying the game. In beta we were told that they had a release canadate that was far ahead of what we were playing. Then after release and the initial patch we had the same game we were beta testing with a few more bug fixes. I never picked up my pre-orders and I never got the game.
After 2.0 or possibly 2.1 I will consider the game release worthy and then purchase it. I learned a very valuable lesson from these guys. I have avoided buying games on release now since then with the exception of RGTR, which I really loved the beta for so I just went ahead and bought it. That will most likly be my last release purchase.
From here on out I will be waiting at least 6 months or until the first price drop (whichever come later) to purchase any games. I figure if companies are going to continue to release games that are buggy, I will just wait 6-10 months to buy them. Maybe they will knock if off.

Of course the bad thing is you'll always be behind those at the top of the game if you buy a game late. But eh, I just like to be at the top of the game and I realize that might not be important to someone else. That being said, I agree with you in regards to HGL finally reaching release quality state. It's a shame it wasn't released in an acceptable state, because they lost a lot of potential customers.
When they release 2.0 patch? Really need that patch if u want play blademaster...
Right now there is only marksman some what ok.
2.0 is on the test server as of today, I think.
Just tryed get in TC server but its offline i gues:/
Yeah new configuration change to TC. They are restarting the server
I'd say give it 10-12 months. By patch 4.0, it will be ready for release.
