Over the last few weeks it appears the interest in Vanguard is growing. I decide to post my screenshots which are scattered through numerous threads, to provide gamers with passing interest in VG some nice eye candy.
I'm not the greatest when it comes to taking screenshots, so feel free to post your own screenies. Lets show everyone the delights they are missing.
Here are my system specs. Also the screenies were taken on the setting just below the highest setting.
Intel Duo Core E6600 @ 2.40 ghz
Mobo Intel D975XBX2
ATI 1950 XTX 512mb
2 gigs of Ram
Everything else bog standard. On board sound etc.
Most of the screenies are from the low levels. This is what greets you the moment you load VG. Enjoy
Flying Mounts (mostly rental)
Unique Mobs
Landscape shots.

i just ordered the game off amazon today. got the collectors edition for 20$ (including shipping). i can't wait to try it out. i played SWG and Eve, so i'm hoping this is up my alley.
I just posted on another thread about VG and thanx for taking the time to show off some of your screenshots. I am really thinking of giving this another shot.
Please anyone else that is trying this out for the 1st time or replaying it give some more honest reviews

Holy Flamin' Frost-Brand Gronk-Slayin' Vorpal Hammer o' Woundin' an' Returnin' an' Shootin'-Lightnin'-Out-Yer-Bum!! ~Planescape: Torment~
I just figured it out today. Go to the photo gallery, upload your images (has requirements), then add titles/descriptions and save.
Once that part is done, when you create a post, you will see a new button to add photos from your own gallery. When posting the images, I chose the "Thumbnails with New Window" option.
Hope this helps.
Good luck and Peace!!
What Mod is that for Vanguard in that first post? Thanks in advance...
wow some nice pics.. and to think i just started this game! so exciting
Remember Old School Ultima Online
Buccaneer...what mod is that for Vanguard?
Vanguard beta water with reflections
The mod in the picture is DroxUI and Infomap advanced. Unfortunately Drox is not supported anymore.
At the moment I'm using the standard UI with infomap. Alot of people like Core UI. I have not used it so I cannot comment on it. I've enclosed a link below.

Just wanted to say thank you to the people supporting the thread and posting the nice pics.
I always wanted to try Vanguard, But I am not willing to pay for a copy of it lol. If they would just give me a free client download plus all expansions like eq2 is doing and 1 free month to play it, then I would prob get on right now. But seeing as AOC is out, warhammer/aion/wotlk is comming soon...thats too much money.
*edit* I do support this thread btw, and thanks for posting.
It sucks VG was not included in SOE's promotion with EQ and EQ 2.
for the support.

Thanks Bucaneer!
Great screen shots for a great game. Thank you
Great still pictures.
Too bad there are no shadows in the world, makes everything unreal. And those beta screenshots of the water is nothing to drool over. They are not in game.
There are shadows. There is an option to turn them off to boost performance, which I suspect is the case with these screen shots.
Yes, there are shadows and GU5 has introduced directional lighting and new shaders. The beauty of this took a big leap forward with GU#5. The screenshot below is pre-GU5, but I am planning to take some new ones soon.
Actually i put the beta water up there because ive heard people complain about no water reflections ,but at one time they did have them and am sure they will be added in time
