Better, Faster, Easy on your PC

I played City of Heroes back in 2004 for about a year and 6 months , and quit because at certain levels you would need 8 plus hours to level ,so you would start an alt and play it till you hit the leveling wall again and  repeat; till you have 10 toons all in the teens. I have recently reactive my account and it is so much better than back in 2004 the mission are much cooler with NPC heroes fighting alongside you and nifity cut scence also the time to level is much faster, seems  like under 1 hour per level for 15-35 anyway. So if you had a subs and quit due to available time = lack of progress, I would advise you to check it out again.

PS MY P4 3.2 with 2g ram 7900gtx run COH on high at 1920X1200 at 30FPS or higher. AOC Crushed my PC on low

The developers have definitely worked to smooth out the leveling curve and fill in the holes where things may have been grindy.  At the same time, they made it so that you can skip contact missions and arcs and just run quick pickup missions using the radio -- very easy for banging through levels too.

Aside from the cut scenes, check out the physics (you may have to turn it on from the options menu).  I'm not sure if your card will handle it but between the added effects and the rag doll physics of knocking mobs around, it's great fun ( ' :
