Don't suggest Guild Wars, cause if you can't jump in a game... then it sucks IMO.
Out of the ones I listed, Rakion is the only semi-fun game. I'm sure the games I listed were fun years ago, but once you get use to modern day graphics... there is no going back.

Not really into the Star Trek thang.

I'm not sure you would consider Planetside an MMO, but I have a blast playing it. It's a constant war; there are NO PVE elements whatsoever. And there is a lot more to the game than just shooting each other.
There is leveling/skillups and a lot of tactical and strategic elements that may be considered. Planetside is a great example of a game that is quick to learn and long to master.
Ya I have a blast in Planetside.
/edit there are no death penalties, other than the fact that your absence from the battlefield for those 15 seconds might enable the enemy to gain a foothold on your continent/base. Those 15 seconds seem like an eternity sometimes. It's really quite an exciting game.
Luckily, i don't need you to like me to enjoy video games. -nariusseldon.
In F2P I think it's more a case of the game's trying to play the player's. -laserit
