New player question please help ASAP very simple

in EVE Online

I've accidentally closed my chatbox and cant get it back. The normal chat box with local, rookie help, etc etc.

 

1. How do i get it back?

2. What did i press to make it dissapear (on accident)

 

 

 

 

Thanks for any help. Im on the trial and was having fun till this happened :(

    Are you sure its closed and not just minimized ? The standard local chat window as far as I know cannot be closed. It should be there as a small rectangle at the bottom left, click on it and it should open it back to normal.
