Neosteam, An Alternative for Wow

I have played neosteam for a month now and so far its good, Since the opening of CBT it was my first time on this game, and i haven't know any idea on how to play this game, i'm a hard core gamer and i have played and tried many different games. Different genres and different themes.. Neosteam is very unique for what i have experienced, from their steam punk theme to the characters behind it ever the story.. I found it very awesome game ever!

I have played world of warcraft, and from neosteam's looks and details. World of warcraft have to think for a while because neosteam will be their very hard competitor when it comes to graphics

The gameplay is good, and for a first timer in MMORPG Neosteam is a newbie friendly where you can learn the commands very easily, GMs ingame are very helpful and active, they have a big respect to their players whether you belong to other country, where i do not find in other MMORPG..

I love the actions that takes place in every request that we throw, although some are hard because it envolves a user interface recreation they grant it very warm, enable us to have a enjoyful and good gaming life. I love how the developers and GM give a quick action regarding some technical matters.

So based on my over all experienced ill rate this game 10 out 10

You don't have to call this a review, this is just a feedback by a overwhelmed player of Neosteam

im a bit confused.. neosteam competes with wow? over what? f2p mmos can be nice but they are inferior to every AAA p2p mmo in every aspect off the game.

    MMOs currently playing: -
About to play: Lord of the Rings Online
Played: Anarchy Online (alltime favorite) and lots of f2p titles (honorable mentions: 9Dragons, Martial Heroes, Dekaron, Atlantica Online)

The quality of a game is completely independent of payment plan, judging a game just because it's free to play is a bit premature. It should be judged on its game play elements, not on how you seem to think free to play means garbage game. That said..

The only thing Neosteam competes with is other crappy Asian imports, calling it a contender even in the general vicinity of WoW is downright laughable.

    Now with 57.3% more flames!

Neostream??? Never heard of it and if it's a free to play game I don't think I want to hear of it. btw wow IS the spawn of the devil and it doesn't take 10 million people to make a good game . As a matter of fact if that many people played the actually good games out there it would probably ruin them!

I know most asian games are grindy, but there are times that I find that a relief from the current trend of rapid leveling in more current western MMO releases.

Now that doesn't mean I like grinding out my levels forever, I just think that western MMO's should slow the leveling down just a little bit.

The best asian type game out there is without a doubt Lineage II. Throw everything you thought you knew about MMO's out the window if you give this one a try!!!

I tried it, it wasn't my cup o' tea.

Crafting in particular was one of the worst I've tried, only dwarves can craft armor? Give me a break?

L2 might have good PvP, but I'm not into that. I like questing, exploring, story, crafting, PvE etc And L2 is very limited in all of those categories.

So I googled it.. if graphics is what you seek, seek elsewhere, it looks very hard on the eyes.

A better choice might be Rohan Online: Blood Feud, an Open Beta:

I really would like someone to get in touch with me about getting subsidised for shamelessly shilling their frightfully bad F2P game.  I bet I could do it so much better then most anyone you could find, due to my seemingly rare ability to 'write in English decently'.

    Playing: Nothing
Played: Champions Online, CoX, STO, PSO, WoW, lots of free-to-play crap
Looking Forward To: DC Universe Online, Blade and Soul

    Hihi

Not to try to be nasty, or even racist, or any "bad thing", but if people notice, all those blatant publicity for crappy games, are made mostly out of 2 kinds of people: clueless teenager, or, 20ish year old asian person.

all they want is to flame. i know that they hate other games but it's not right to flame each time the op is appreciating that game. why didn't they just make their own thread?

cmon guys this ist just another brainless asiagrinder itemshop game.

p2p and f2p will never be the same, cos p2p have their monthly income, so they can work with that money on the game.

f2p never have content patches. if ur lucky ull get a small new  area or new mobs once in a year.

this game is no freakin revolution, its just another china crap game.

I gave the game a look over and watched some videos. It looks like a very young crowd type game,i would say age gender 14 max.It looks alot like a typical asian MU online type game.IMO it isn't that good a game at all,but hey alot of players out there jumping on the F2P bandwagons.I mentioned this already 16 maxxed out servers on SILKROAD another F2p game that is not bad to play for a short time but not worth the long haul.

It has been very apparent that korean developed games ALL have the same makeup and design as there MU online predecessor.Asian developer SQUARE ENIX have a much broader view in developing games, they are a true developer.NC soft tries but again they are stuck in there MU online phase and can't get out.

I might also add that IMO there is soooo many of these games popping up,because they really look like they were games that attempted to get published for playstation but failed for one reason or another. Now the big rich mafia or whatever they are korean developers are bringing them out in WAVES.Games that failed at getting publishing deals would be easy to scoop up for petty cash, and with there proven marketing ITEM MALL design,it's an easy fit.

Got a little off topic but this game for people under say even 16  is alright and free. But the game is designed around an item mall so they need older players with credit cards and money to play.Based on what i saw in the game it's not worth more than a 1/5 to anyone 16+.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

actually it is not only for players aging 16 below..this game fits for players who enjoyed the typre of theme which we can found in this game..it is totally woth it just to play this game
