Shaiya Characterized as a Spawn Camp Game

For those of you players out there who enjoy the PvP aspect and challenge of MMO's do not expect to receive much of a challenge in Shaiya.  The game is rife with camping of spawn and gates and the makers of the game refuse to give any option to avoid such.  Save your self the time and don't download this unless you're looking for a boring time.

Stop talking trash about this game and trying to convince people not to play it. There is almost no gate camping and if there is so people take screenshots of it, post in the forum thread and the campers get banned.

There are rabid defenders of any MMORPG. To anyone else who's reading this, I think the topic starter does have a point.



Regardless, I don't think he's trying to prevent anyone from anything. People are still free to try the game - just don't blame me if they quit three weeks after.

i agree completely with the OP regarding spawn and gate camping..

also another downside of shiaya, which is shown so clearly by this quote from a player...a terrible commnuity...people like this are all over the game.

if someone decides to grind on the exact same mob as you, despide there being open mobs around you, and you ask them politely to "please let me kill this mob without ks'ing me, there are plenty of open mobs for both of us"  you will get a very foul mouthed, low IQ response on par with what was said by the person i quoted

nothing kills an average game with boring pvp other than a horribly rude and immature community

Wow, judging from the one fan of this game, I'm not really thrilled about trying it now.  I still probably will, but not quite as soon.

If I remember correctly, this is an Asian Grinder. This seems to be very common amongst this type of game. Very much Like Lineage 2.

If this is the case then it is part of the gameplay. You can't complain about something that is inherantly part of the game.

It's like complainng that Football has tackling and the refs don't do anything about it.

It is what it is.
