i played AoC for 1 day, but quit coz it just didnt feel right....i feel like i have been mogged of 65€....
but now im playing LOTRO....and it made my hurting less painful. Love the game so far ( 18hours )...
this all to say that i dont really see the comparaison between AoC and other MMORPG's of high standards...its, imo, a big PR campaign to sell a bad, distastefull beer brand: the girls in the add look awesome, but the beer tastes like cat pee.....hope i mnade some sense there.

Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009..... In between WoW few months AoC few months and some f2p also all very short few weeks.
WAR- Have you seen the combat graphics? I really want to like this game but there's alot of work to be done.
In the meantime I'm having a blast with AoC cause I didn't expect a new MMO to come out perfect and without bugs like most people did. Every week AoC gets more polished and more fun, I give it 6 months tops and the potential will be realized.

LotRO is a better game than AoC way more polished and extremly fun imho.
