try neosteam
Rappelz is really easy to control, move around and all that, it has some lag issues, but its a pretty fun one.
Shadowbane is wicked custom PvP'er, if you can get around how complicated and how specific it is, plus its tough to find parties or groups, but it is still pretty hardcore.
Ummm, go to Youtube and put in top free mmorpg's, there are a few vids there of games that you can look at and see if it's your style or what not....
My suggestion, try a few single player games untill those games you looking out for get release'd. Else you might get slightly burned out with MMORPG, and by playing something in a slightly different genre you keep the mmorpg experiance abit fresh. Or afcourse do something completly different
If you're into RPG i could suggest TwoWorlds (bit of a Oblivion wanna-be, few flaws here and there, but still a very enjoyeble rpg, lots of freedom, GREAT loot system, wish we would see this type of loot system more often in MMORPG's, graphics wise very pretty well done, and you have multi player options, but thought it was something of 16vs16 max not sure...) (http://www.2-worlds.com/ ) 2Worlds is also abit older then the Witcher, which for me was a RPG i needed to get use to in the way it controls, different then the norm but after getting the hang of it the game sort of opened up and is like 2worlds quite entertaining. http://www.thewitcher.com/index.php
Assasin Creed if you the patients and relaxe type of gamer is a game you also might enjoy, i do hope that the TRUE NEXT GEN game in a couple of years WILL have the character movement freedom that the ingame Character Altair, the game has it's repetitive moments (allot i may add) but just the freeroaming around those city's, it was like a Prince of Percia on steriods type of adventure, but it was missing e few things that could have made it a awesome game. http://assassinscreed.uk.ubi.com/experience/
I just pickedup GRID from D2d and i'm not really into racing games i did enjoy casual racing games like the NFS series, did enjoy the GT series back in my PS2 era , but overall GRID to me is a very casual friendly racing game and i am definitly enjoying it, just something completly different then i mostly play, check it out > http://www.codemasters.nl/grid/index.php#/home/
Hope some of it might have helped or not afcourse......
FFXI. There is a huge influx of players and I don't know why.
