I am returning to vanguard, help me out.

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes

Yeah, haven't played for about a year. I am wondering what is the most active/populated server?

I know PvP isn't a big part of the game, but is there ANY kind of PvP at all on normal servers?

    Seradon is the most populated server, and the most populated area to start a new character will be Thestra but some classes are area specific I'm afraid.

    As far as Pvp goes I think you'll only find it on the Pvp server which from what I've heard is pretty dead anyway. Pvp is'nt Vanguards strong points at all but as a PVE game its really top notch fun now.

    I appreciate the info. Yea...I won't mind so much about no pvp if the pve is entertaining. Hopefully I enjoy this game.

    Does Seradon have good population during European hours or would it be best to roll on the EU server?

    Seradon does have Europeans  on it and is the most populated server but I play on Halgar ,the official European server .It's great and there are always people on.Vanguard is going through  a robust  revival ...I absolutely recommend it . :)

    All the cool people are on the Xeth server 

    It has a very good population too.

    I have characters on Xeth and Seradon, can't go wrong with either of them.

    Halgar is in Europe. Which gives you 10%-20% better ping

    On the PvE servers you can invite people to duel. I doubt very many people would except though. Its just not one of the games strong points. I duel my wife every now and then and its "ok". The PvP server is pretty much abandon from the short time I spent there. The problem with PvP in this game is a) its not balanced for it, its balanced for PvE B) there is no real point to bother with it.

    Ok I am officially excepting bribes to come to your server Coin, items, favours (legal only of course). Hehe. actually probablly wont start for a while, while the weather is good here may as well play outside a bit. Shame the trial isnt ready but amazon have the game for about 8 quid and free delivery.

     

    Actually I suspect price might rise a wee bit when the trial comes out so now is probably a good time to buy.
