How many of you have pre-ordered the CE?

I'm seriously considering it. I've played just about every MMO out there and I've been gameless for a while.
This seems like the one, and I believe in it, it's just 80 bucks is a lot of money to drop on a game that isn't even released yet.
So yeah, how many of you have bought it?

Many people have bought the pre order for the CE (only know this because the Best Buy up the street from me started off with a shelf full and now have like 5 left). You can pick one up at any gaming store, best buy, etc for like $10. Then if you happen to get into beta/open beta and find you dont like the game, you only wasted $10
If you find you like it, well you have it preordered

I ordered mine about a month or two ago, whenever it was released.
Very much looking forward to the Open (almost open) beta.

Aye, you can do that with pretty much any game that comes along really.
And make sure you get your pre order codes as well
Best Buy sells the pre order boxes that have the code sheet in them already. Gamestop/EB will do the POs, but sometimes wont have any codes left.

Yeah, a few copies of the CE in my household. The gme looks good, the staff are good people, and the community is awesome for this game. Can not wait to see some good fan sites, and dedicated forums and more local events!
they haven't released any numbers but in my area almost all of the offical preorders are gone. (some Gamestop/EB stores of course still take people money when they are out of codes.)
Im a big fan of the tabletop game and have been waiting for the mmo for quite some time. Yes I did preorder the CE.
With all of the research ive done of this game i cant wait for it to be released!!!!!

Im a big fan of the RPG and a current beta tester so I preordered 3 copies (two for my household and one for a friend) the day they opened preorders. So far from testing the game since September of last year I am definately keeping my preorders (and praying they dont get mucked up).
MMO Vet since AOL Neverwinter Nights circa 1992. My MMO beat up your MMO. =S
I bought a copy of the CE as well. Normally I wouldn't even dare, after the recent (2 year stretch) of horrible MMOG releases. But I played DAoC for over two years, and Mythic is a company that has my trust. Back then the only issues I had were those of balance, and I believe they have learned many lessons along the way.
I believe my $80 was well spent.
Ordered it, paid 10$ will pay more next check. I dont want to go in and find out oh, we ran out... theyd better not run out if I pay for the whole thing! >.>

Well I am looking forward to the game and think it'll definetely succeed. The only thing is I'm not really sure a Collector's Edition is that much better...of course, if I were really a fan of the tabletop and the lore and such it would be, but I'm not (yet
). So I'm not sure I'll preorder a CE, but I'll most certainly get the game.

The reason why I pre-ordered the CE was because of my love for mmorpgs. More than one occasion I and my friends have truly loved a game so much that we wished we had bought the collector's edition for that particular game.
I think WAR is going to be one of the those games for me and instead of wishing I had pre-ordered the CE, im going to go ahead and drop the $80 on it.
This could be the best game ever made (yes even better than Jet Set Willy) but I will never be talked into pre-ordering an MMO ever, ever, ever, ever again. Not ever!!!!!
I hear ya noolord I am usually the same way but the CE in this one is well worth to me. Being a warhammer fan the books, in game items and figure are well woth it to me.

I preorderd mine last month. First time I've done this with a MMORPG but Warhammer has really impressed me so far. Not only that but the extras seem to be worth the extra money as well and don't seem like a waste.
im on the same boat with you lot bout not pre-ordering but after i stop following AoC a long time ago and did my reasearch on WAR i knew what game i wanted and brought the PO the first day...
Those of us who watch the videos/podcasts/read the fan site reviews/read up on the lore/played the tabletop
...we know this game will be the best thing out there...and those that don't will just have to wait and see
I've got the CE on pre-order. WAR better be good. If not, my last hope is Cryptic's Star Trek Online (announcement in 43 days). If STO flops, then I'm retired from gaming until Blizzard's next MMORPG.

I pre-ordered the CE in May, got my codes by e-mail. Lots of friends going to be playing War, a few are still over at AOC, which I will check out by buddy pass, just to be fair. But I have followed the goings on re War over the past year and so far like what I see both for the game and the EAMYTHIC team ...nice to see a Dev team thats enthused about their own game...and having fun at the same time.

I have ordered CE, the bonuses (especially the extra character heads) sounds awesome, and so does the guaranteed open beta. Can't wait to try it!
CE pre-order here too. The extras do seem worth it to me, though nearly every other CE I have bought I felt screwed by. Holding out that this one won't disappoint.
Ive never bought a CE for any mmorpg but Ive ordered 2 for my household. Like someone else said ... you cantry the beta ... If you dont like it then cancel it
