I agree. IMO the real quality for adventuring lies in grouping. Plenty of great solo classes though. I mostly soloed to 50 with my main, but running alts through all the stuff I missed now and having a great time with guildies.
As other posters have stated, it has both elements. I should point out though that the "group" dungeons don't exactly require a full group. In fact, if you take a full group to a +20 dungeon, you will simply be moving from mob to mob with NO challenge whatsoever, as well as moving along way too fast to appreciate the dungeon design.
I almost exclusively trio'd my way through several characters, and we never found a dungeon we couldn't handle as a trio. Things were rough at times until we gained a couple of levels (GS at 38 for example), but isn't that what makes it fun anyway?
