Browser-based Soccer Manager?

I've been looking for a browser-based Soccer manager for a while now, although I haven't had much luck finding quite what I'm looking for.  I've tried Hattrick, as well as a couple of other games, but they just don't feel quite right to me.  I'm looking for a soccer manager that allows for player management, as opposed to being strictly team centric.  A game that allows players to create their own players, and use them to fill out player-run teams, which would then compete against other player-run teams.  It's a similar system to that used in games like GoalLineBlitz, although with a different sport.

Any help finding one of these would be of great help.
