are warriors still a dime a dozen?

ZhangloZhanglo Member Posts: 24

I've been on the game for some time and have tried almost all the classes.  I tried warrior last and have really enjoyed it.  Maybe because its not so complex as trying to lvl up a mage, but i digress.

I just wanna know if it will be hard for me to get a group in the dunes and later on.

Thanks in advance for everyone inputing and helping me out.

Warrior doesn't usually have any problem getting a party at any level and are pretty versatile with sub

was actually thinking of doing a dragoon/blue mage or a warr/drk.  Not sure which yet..im only at 15 for my warr

Among melee jobs, Warrior is definitely one of the more popular ones to be invited to a group. I suggest trying to put together parties on your own as you level.

As Baross2025 said, warriors are pretty versatile with sub jobs. WAR/NIN, WAR/THF, and WAR/SAM (in later levels) are all great choices for parties. I also suggest playing warrior to 37 (level cap for subjobs) before deciding on dragoon, dark knight, etc. or to stay with warrior if you choose to go with melee in the end.

Yes WAR are also good subs for any melee class however your going to make a DRG or DRK you might want to think about leveling SAM as they make great subs for any class that uses a 2H weapon at higher levels.

    Ever thought about MNK main?

I've been Mnk  since 2004 and absolutely still love it to this day.

I was warrior in some of the COP missions I was forced to do. I was just standing in my mog house without a flag up and I kept getting invites to parties...this was at level 37 so i can't say much about level 15, but i would assume that it would be nearly as easy for you if you go at peak times. Also, in case you were wondering, this was about three weeks ago so it isnt like it was a year ago when i actually leveled it to 37.

Guys this is a lil off topic but is this game still alive? I LOVE FF. I want to play so bad but i'm afraid it's dead and starting out new I won't get a group and be able to level. I'v played before and I know how hard it is to level and not only that you HAVE to have a group. So would it be worth it to come back new and play? Another thing i'm worried about is if i do the game will get discontinued soon or somthing. Doesn't seem like it might not last a few years or somthing. Is it worth me playing and putting effort in?

This game will most definately last at least 5-8 more years, they havent even started server merges yet, on the fact that you would be a noob. its okay you will find it a bit hard at times to level but people are always leveling subjobs or alt characters.

about going as a monk, i did try it and got bored quick.  i originally started my main as a blm and this sub i have as a war.  As far as a main weapon goes, i currently have an axe and a shield as a back up and just picked up a brass polearm just so I can get ready for drg.
