Why is it that noone can seem to allow the end user to tweak, tune, move the user interface?
In the last year I have tried an enormous amount of MMOs and never have I found the perfect UI. We wait on mods by end users hesitating to install them thinking that someone installed a key logger in the program and we wake up the next morning with our account stripped of all its goods and broke as we cry to the GM for our stuff back.
Is it that hard for them to write a code into their program that will allow the end user to move around the mini map, the HP/MP bars, their target bars, their party interface, their hotbars? I'm currently playing AoC and I got to say I love it, best MMO out there since I first played WoW (my opinion). My complaint is the UI. I looked forward to LoTRO, I stopped because of the UI. I tried Tabula Rasa, my complaint was the UI as well as the game not being any good. I tried Vanguard, City of Hereos, Fury, ArchLord, Eve, EQ, and various others, and I got to say that the UI turned me off each time.
I think why I like AoC is its similarity to WoW. But I have my complaints. All I ask is that the developer build into their release the customization tools for the end user. The idiot like me who can't rewrite xml and not have to reinstall the game when I attempt too!
Please, someone, give me a tool to move my UI around!
