It´s a good game, it´s a fantasy game.

The website is also in $%^&ing Spanish! I am fluent in three languages, but that isn't one of them. How do you say, "I cast magic missile!" in Spanish, any way?

Edit: Found the screenshots on the site...but the game doesn't look that good. Graphics don't really make the game, but the interface looks like...bleh. Seeing as I can't really understand the site, is there a free trial on it? or a way to test it out? It looks halfway decent...but I doubt it'd pull me away from EQ.

See...your characterizing and stereotyping americans puts you in the same place as those you are trying to flame. Yes, Portugese is spoken in Brazil. However, it is an honest mistake. Most of the other countries in south america were colonized and conquered by the spaniards, and many of them still speak spanish. Not only that, but the two languages are very similar and can be easily mistaken. Don't be so offended by someone's honest mistake. Honestly, do you think you could tell the difference between Chinese (any dialect), Japanese and Taiwanese? If you were to mistake one for another, wouldn't you feel bad if someone hopped on your back about it instead of just poitning out the difference?

Ahhh...right...now back to the topic... I was wondering if they have an English website as well of if it is just in Brazils native tounge right now. I know some sites have different versions for other countries.

Don't get to upset over it, there tends to be an over generalization that all of South America is spanish or dialects of it. Not to mention if someone who didn't know the difference between the two could easily mistake spanish & portuguese writing. I have a friend who is a Web designer in Brazil, and I live in Canada, I made the same mistake when I first visited one of his sites and he was quick to correct me aswell. I learned alot in geography but believe it or not when I think about it, very little of those classes covered South America in great detail.
The point is, try not to be to quick to attack, and instead take the oportunity to educate. It was more then likly an honest mistake and shouldn't be taken offensivly.
Trust me, I spent a year in Florida and discovered mojority of the people I met knew nothing about Canada. (IE: Majority of the people I met thought pot was legal in Canada, I met 6 different people who told me how lucky I was to be from Montreal because Amsterdam is in Montreal, not to mention it wasn't hard to convince people that in winter we move from our homes to igloos because it was better cold protection, OH and I once got a ticket for double parking my dog sled.) But I also met a lot of interesting people. It was also a great life lesson, and taught me a great deal about people in Florida. I'd never over generalize and say that I learned about all Americans from that trip, cause I've been to NY and the people are VERY different there.

Hey, sry for "attacking", its just Im sick of every day hearing ppl in forums say things like these. And about the american part, I KNOW THEIRE NOT ALL LIKE THAT, but(and this u may call racism) whenever I see write something like this I "know" he is American.

Well, flamming ppl from any country only for being of that country is not a good thing, but I really think they has some reason.
I know not all americans are idiots, because there are a lot of ppl from EEUU that are really genius.
But man, when I see american films, or somethings that americans thinks... oh my god!
Of course, if a see a web in chinesse, I can say it´s chinesse, or japanese, or korean.
Korean ppl writtes with other "letters" or "simbols" that japanese and chinesse ppl. And the japanese need some links in their sentences that written with other simbols. (Katakana)
Of course, I know if anyone is writting in english or german.

Side note: You are on an American-based website that talks about games that are mostly populated by Americans and mostly programmed by Americans (with some exceptions ala Funcom, Neocron, and the original version of Lineage) - you must enjoy some serious S&M to keep reading and posting here....

The only time Americans need to know about another country is when we're attacking them. If Brazil was to go to war with the US, you can betcha everyone will be interested in a short news clip about their culture. Although... then again, there are those americans without a sense of culture AND who do not watch the news - e.g. Homer Simpson - so maybe even a war wouldn't do it the best.
The #1 best way to educate americans about your culture and give them slightly more accurrate stereotypes --> Make an entertaining movie or TV show about it for a US audience! (Godfather for italians, My Big Fat Greek Wedding for greeks, etc.)

PS- i only know that brazillians speak portugese because i knew a brazillian girl who lived in my dorm in college, plus i took some cap-a-wer-a class (sorry no idea how to spell it), and of course I'm a big fan of Gisele and company.

As to Americans. Yeah, we got some real dumbasses here, and we got some pretty good people here too. I'd guess it's the same mix as every other country in the world. Spend enough time on enough forums with a good international population, and you find that stupidity is one of mankinds universal bonds. And anyway, to anyone not familiar with Spanish or Portuguese, they would probably seem similar, be that person from the US, or Burma, or Gabon.

I was born and raised in Hluboka nad Vltavou, a village in southern Czech. I gaurentee you to this day, 99% of the people in this town and all surrounding towns know nothing of America, couldn't name the capital, how many states, more than one city(except the hockey fans there may know this one) dont know where Brazil is, or even South America for that matter. So dont just pin ignorance of other cultures on Americans, thats stupid. How many people in the Republic of the Congo do you think can tell the difference between Spanish and Portugese?
On another note, i speak pretty fluent Spanish, not a lick of Portugese, and i understood the entire site for this game. It's practicaly like saying England speaks English, and America speaks American, 2 different languages. To a lesser extent Italian and French, not as close but i met some Italians when i was partying in prague that didnt speak anything but Italian, which i never learned, and i hung out with them for 3 straight days communicating just fine speaking spanish to them.
I took French in high school, and from that, what little I remember anyway, I was able to figure out the website fairly well. Maybe it's just me, but there are a number of words in French, Spanish, hell even German, that are very close to their English equivalent. Close enough to get the gist of what is being written, anyway.
Honestly, if you want to criticize Americans, it's that many non-native English speaking people, like Fulmanfu, speak the language better than native English speakers.
