When I built my rig, I installed home XP (32 bit) and it came with a free upgrade to windows vista (32 bit) as long as you paid for shipping. I haven't installed it yet, cas of all the problems I been hearing. But now with the release of service pack 1, I'm wondering if now is a good time to upgrade. I would like to use 4 gigs of ram capablities that xp has issues with. And eventually get a new graphics card that can use DX10. I would like to know any players out there that are using Vista and play Vanguard and if everything runs great, or should I just stay with xp? Or just any pros & cons in general?
Thanks in advance!

I had only one problem wtih Vanguard in Vista 32. On the window's desktop you can have these "gadgets". If they are set to be "always on top", eg how you might do with your taskbar... It will conflict like crazy with the Vanguard graphics in game.
Other than that no problems whatsoever. Also, I'm not so sure 32bit Vista recognizes all 4 gigs either. Somewhere around 3.2G I believe.
I play VG on XP while my wife plays on Vista. We both have identical rigs just different OS's.
I have found no difference in playing on either computer. I do not scrutenize every minute detail however. I don't consider 48fps on one and 45fps on the other although I have noticed the water looks damn real(er) on the Vista machine.
