New Player in DaOC, little help plz

hello people, i started playing DaOc im lvl 10 (what a noob lol)

i am so confuse about everything, i mean the map is HUGE, can anyone suggest any specific links, from noobs like me that will make the game more understandable?

and that will help me more understand the game, and tips for begining.

or if you play DaOC, you can even write it here. Please guys i really think that game is amazing. i just need to know it.

Hey there, welcome to DAoC. Unfortunately, Mythic does not have official posting boards so a large portion of the community posts on the VN boards.  You can find the Camelot page at http://camelotvault.ign.com.  On that page are links to the different boards for camelot. There are class and server specific boards too.  On most class boards you can find helpful levelling guides.

Some other useful sites: daoc.catacombs.com (you can find a character builder here) and camelot.allakazham.com (you can find quest information, beastiary, etc.)

Come to merlin mid, were the underdog but they got a great community.

Heres the names of my characters Ive played recently, Faodia-Spiritmaster,Kraci Warrior, and Primux a shadowblade.
Also on Guinevere (RP) as Albion.

I'm in Midgard on Tristan. Its a much smaller server than Merlin, so if you want smaller community come there, if you want bigger community go to enemyminds server.

Lyren, Balou (tho my bf uses this toon sometimes because its a lvl 50 shammy), Lyr (my lvl 37 runemaster I'm playing mostly atm).  I'll hook you up with some money and gear and stuff. I'll be around Saturday and Sunday morning this week.

  Need to know a little more about the realm/class you are playing before we can offer any worthwhile help.

Main points are speccing. I really didn't understand this when i first started playing. don't spread your points to thin. Talk to guys ingame, or give us details on your class/realm....i only ever really played alb tho

    I was just in your seat a 2 weeks ago. The best thing that I did was read the DAoC manual thoroughly, then decide what character I wanted to be, then afterwards.. learn how my character functioned within the game.

There is so much information on each character that it's impossible to learn it all within a week. Then after you make a different character, you have to learn everything about that one too. My advice is to take it easy and learn the game dynamics first, then as you do along and gain experience in rhe realms, try different characters, always ask for help when you get confused and continue learning as much about the game as you go along....learn the races, characters, styles, etc. Learning is a continual process for me in this game. 

One thing about maps, this game doesn't provide them right up front, but they are available on the DAoC linked sites... I like memorizing the terrain...which is what ppl had to do hundreds of years ago.

Above all else, use patience and don't get frustrated as I have done...it only waste time. I purchased a DAoC game guide which helped me a lot...answered a lot of questions I had..it's a little outdated, but is still useful.
